A Special program with Onne van der Wal

Posted by: A former member on Sep 10, 2009

I found this lecture event which is open to the public.

Onne van der Wal is sharing some of his best images and tricks for making great photos in this very challenging and equipment battering environment. Onne will show about 200 of his latest and most favorite images taken all over the world in a variety of regattas ? from classic yacht to mega yacht racing, from islands scattered all over the globe, from cruising grounds near and afar and images from the helicopter, chase boat and Onne?s much admired onboard photographs capturing the action, intensity and excitement of sailing and racing yachts.

    Film viewing... Born into Brothels

Posted by: Lendie Gauvin Lendie Gauvin on Nov 23, 2009

Okay, so, I understand that this is photography group and the main objective here is to, well, do things that encompass all aspects of photography. How does a film fit into a photography group, you ask? Follow this link to find out...

All we need is a space to view it (and a television and DVD player, of course!)

If we cannot get together as a group to see this film, I highly recommend that you view it on your own (add it to your Netflix queue.) It is inspiring to see what a few underprivileged children can do with a camera, when given the opportunity.

    Ciao!
