Please join us for the LEE912 meeting at the Tower room at the Edison Restaurant at the Fort Myers Country Club. WE meet every other Thursday at 7 pm so come a few minutes early and mingle with the other 912 members, pick up a Tshirt or bumper sticker to help get the word out. Our format is educational, patriotic, interactive and our group is expanding. We believe in limited government and believe that personal responsibility rather than governmental dependence is the key to our country's continued success. Join us at this critical time in our country's history. Now is the time for action, not apathy. Help us RESTORE AMERICA. Here is some of what's in store at this meeting.

1. Guest Speaker Alex Blagojevich. Alex grew up in a Muslim area of France and experienced the effects of Socialism, European Health Care and Sharia Law. Please invite your friends to hear Alex speak about where America is today regarding the above.

2. Pictures and Commentary from our member who attended the Glen Beck DC event

3. Specific discussion regarding the following questions. Please come with your answers

1. Since the Obama Inauguration, what two occurrences have given you hope that the conservative movement can regain this Country (someone’s speech, a rally, primary voter turnout, etc)?

2. Same question—but the dark side. What have you seen that gives you grave concern that the secular progressive agenda of the Obama administration may triumph.

3. What would you need to see over the next two years to convince you that our country is definitely headed back to the vision of our Founding Fathers? Think carefully on this. An Obama loss in 2012, replaced by the Clintons or John McCain is not the answer.

I would like to see Alex B. speak at another meeting. Maybe we could put together some questions together as a group for him to answer. I really enjoyed meeting some of the other members.

The Lee912 Project exists to unite and educate fellow patriots and take action to preserve the U.S. Constitution and our founding principles.

Do you believe in at least 7 of The Nine Principles below?

1. America is good.

3. I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday.

4. The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority, not the government.

5. If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it.

6. I have a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results.

7. I work hard for what I have and I will share it with who I want to. Government cannot force me to be charitable.

8. It is not un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my personal opinion.

9. The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me.

You Are Not Alone.

Have you ever felt like you're the only one in your community that see's what's happening to America? Well, you're not. Many Americans understand that Washington is broken. Many times it seems that the political solution is the problem. No more. Our founders knew the solution is We The People.

IN OR OUT IN 2010? Is Congress in or out? If your politician doesn't believe in, support or reflect these core prinicples of the constitution in their actions, then they are not supporting us. More importantly, they are not supporting, protecting or defending the Constitution

To Congress we pledge the following:

1. We believe in a balanced budget and will vote to freeze or roll back government spending until that goal is reached.

2. We believe the government should not increase the financial burden on its citizens during difficult economic times and we will oppose any tax increase until our economy has rebounded.

3. We believe after four decades of U.S. dependence on foreign oil, it is time to immediately increase usage of all domestic resources including nuclear energy, wind energy, natural gas and coal.

4. We believe in the sovereignty and security of our country and therefore will support measures to close our borders except at designated immigration points so we will know who is entering and why. We will vehemently oppose any measure giving another country, the United Nations, or any other entity, power
over the U.S. citizens.

5. We believe the United States of America is the greatest country on earth and we will not apologize for policies or actions which have served to free more and feed more people around the world than any other country.

We believe government intervention threatens to destroy our individual freedom and financial security. Both political parties have been guilty for decades. Whatever Congress labels the latest piece of legislation is irrelevant. It always means more government control and less individual freedom. As the esteemed economist Milton Friedman once said, "WHEN A PRIVATE ENTERPRISE FAILS, IT IS CLOSED DOWN;WHEN A GOVERNMENT ENTERPRISE FAILS, IT IS EXPANDED".
