Can we just heal the body and forget the mind, the soul, the environment? The holistic approach of Ayurveda helps us balance and bring harmony to our life using suggestions for food, herbs, and meditations. Pranayama (therapeutic breathing) and oil treatments like shirodhara (brings peace and bliss to our mind) and abhyanga (clears the channels of energy, may be used for weight loss and improvement of circulation, healing joints and the skin). As we tap into our inner spirit, we fill up with love.
I love the healing power of Ayurveda. I am in gratitude and WOW to the wisdom originating thousands of years ago in the great Himalayas.
