Choral Club of San Diego is a non-profit women's singing group dedicated to bringing music to the people of San Diego and to helping young people pursue musical careers. We are proud of our history of assisting promising students with advancement in their vocal studies through the scholarships we give each year. We are a group of women who enjoy singing many different kinds of music, such as show tunes, contemporary songs, classical music, etc. There are opportunities for solos, too! We have two seasons, Spring and Winter. Most of our performances are given at retirement homes. The residents always look forward to listening to us and welcome us back enthusiastically. The money we raise enables us to award voice scholarships in the Spring to promising young singers. We also give a formal concert for friends, family, and the general public each season. We welcome any woman who enjoys singing. You should have some experience with reading music, but whether you have been performing for years or haven't sung since high school, we'd love to have you come and give us a try! Rehearsals are on Tuesday nights from 7pm - 8:45 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. (we are not a church group - this is just our rehearsal space) At this time we are rehearsing for our spring season and are not accepting new members. We would love to have you join us for the winter season! Rehearsals for Winter will begin in August. Check back for the date of the first rehearsal. Be sure to visit our website www.choralclubofsd.org where you will find samples of our music and more information about us. We hope you will join us next season. Come and sing!
