Get ready for our next Monthly meetup. This one is sure to be a lot of fun!

OPEN MIC
This month we will have Open Mic, so prepare your songs, poems, etc to share with everyone. Ofcourse
it would be great if what you share has a Turkish theme.

MUSIC
In line with our previous events, we will have several musical performances. We are working on confirming the details now. Anyone interested in performing, let us know.

PHOTOS
Given that many of you have travelled to Turkey, I am sure you have a few special photos that you are really proud of: a beautiful shot of the Hagia Sophia, or maybe a picture that captures the Turkish spirit, or maybe just a typical street scene. If you do, please send me a digital copy of it, and we will put together a slide show of all the pictures we receive and play it during the meetup.

FOOD
Turkish Food to be served as well :)

Anyone in the group that has ideas for this or a future meetup, please get in touch with me or Emre. We would love to get your input. This is YOUR meetup, after all.

I started with the study of Turkish back in October of 2007 and I am always present at the meet ups, so now it feels like home. But every time I appreciate the good food, the cultural program and a chance to meet people who love Turkey. The traditional music was great. Excellent performance. Cok guzel!
