Walk and Talk with a Piedmont Doc: Jasmin Theard, Exercise Physiologist.

What is Walk with a Doc?

Walk with a Doc is an opportunity for community members to “walk and talk” with health professionals. The programs last approximately one hour, and offer a casual and personable experience with a health professional. Doctors will take five minutes to talk on a health topic of their choice and participants can ask questions during their walk. A limited number of participants will receive a free pedometer and t-shirt.

Who leads the walks?

Doctors and other health professionals (nutritionists, dietitians, mental health providers, exercise physiologists, etc.) lead the “Walk with a Piedmont Doc” walks. For this event, Piedmont Dr. Obiamaka Mora, Obstetrics & Gynecology, will lead the walk.

Who can join the walks?

The Walk with a Doc program is open to the entire community and everyone is welcome to participate, including patients, their family members and Piedmont employees.
