It's a Friday night, the end of winter (such as it is) is in sight... what better time to enjoy stories and songs with friends?
Join the Experience Team from Gogo - Paul McAleer, Marteki Reed, and Shelby Bower - as we present tall tales and short stories on our favorite topic. If you've been wondering about what CXOs do, how to deftly maneuver through internal political topics, or work within totalitarian regimes in order to get your best work done... then you're in luck, because we've got stories for you! We'll also be performing our first song as a group - you won't want to miss it.
Who's who?
Paul McAleer is Gogo's Experience Manager. He used to do UI code and used to be really good at SQL Server, which is kind of embarrassing to admit. But now he's helping make great experiences for Gogo's customers and airline partners, thanks in no small part to all the coffee he drinks. Paul once appeared on The Bozo Show.
Shelby Bower has been a UX professional since before the term existed, so her LinkedIn reads like a crazy quilt. Which makes her skill set, combined with her sparkling personality, perfect for designing experiences. Or designing for an experience. Or whatever the kids, who probably have no idea what a crazy quilt even is, call it these days.
Naa Marteki Reed can code your PHP/jQuery website, write lyrics for your pop songs, professionally do your taxes, knit you a tea-length sweater dress, or beat you at any euro-style board game ever. But most of the time, she just architects the experience for Gogo's airborne web sites. If you need a geek/nerd/dork in glasses who can both rock an afro and rock your experience design, she's your gal. Hit her up on Twitter @marteki.

I'm a solo designer, so don't really work on a team, yet so much of what was presented was still relevant! I also appreciate the UX resources provided. I hope to attend again. Thank you for all the time and effort that went into the evening.

I liked the topics and the candid nature of the stories. They were also humorous and entertaining. Great song, too! :-)
