The tournament you've all been waiting for is finally here!

XOSO's first ever Flip Cup tourney is just around the corner so start recruiting and scouting the competition now. It's a double elimination tournament, so if you have a bad match, your team gets a shot at redemption. Sounds great, but what happens when you get eliminated? You get to keep drinking for free, that's what! XOSO's Flip Cup tournament means free PBR (maybe a blonde) for the length of the tournament (3 to 4 hours) for all participants, whether you're still playing or rooting for (or against) your friends!

By popular demand... America's first Capture the Flag league!

You remember the game: two teams, each with a flag and a jail. You have to sneak across the field, past the neutral zone to capture their flag, all while evading the other team. If they tag you on their side of the field, you go to their jail where you will be guarded vigilantly. Never fear, your team can spring you from the slammer by tagging you before they themselves are captured.

XOSO's fall outdoor kickball league kicks off Sunday July 26th! Registration is open at http://www.xososports.com/kickball

The league will sell out again, so don't wait to sign up!

Games will be played every Sunday starting July 26th.

We get crazy cheap drink specials at our fantastic sponsor bar: On the "Y". It's only 2 blocks from the field, so you don't have to drive far after the game! After your game head to the bar for $2 bud/bud lites, $3 well drinks, FREE pitchers for the winning teams, a $50 bar tab for the league winner, and other drink specials just for Xoso members!

Registration is $55 per person, and $600 per team before July 4th. Then it goes up to $65 and $650.

Games will start late morning/early afternoon with the final game starting no later than 5pm. The season starts on July 26th and lasts 8-10 weeks, including any necessary bye weeks for scheduling. Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 8 games.

In preparation for the upcoming XOSO volleyball league, come join us to sharpen or develop your volleyball skills. XOSO member Ron Leslie has offered to utilize his resources though his Sacramento Volleyball Group so that we can practice and play.

There will be two or three volleyball nets set up on a grass field in William Land Park (corner of Sutterville Rd. and Freeport Blvd. (Village Green).

For those that have never played volleyball, there will be some basic instruction on rules, court positioning and hitting.

Directions: Take Freeport blvd to Sutterville road. Free parking on the right side (not in front of the houses). Walk into the park closest to Freeport blvd. The nets will be set up near the cement stage and restrooms. Bring your own water. No water faucets on site.

The event is free but the Sacramento Volleyball Group is asking for a $3 per person event donation. This donation fund is collected at all their events and is used to purchase and maintain their equipment. You will not be turned away for not donating but keep in mind we will be using their equipment for this outdoor event.

Wear your XOSO shirt if you have one so people know where to go and who to talk with. Plus, if they play a different XOSO sport, you can talk about that easily!
