19th Annual Arab Cultural Festival
Saturday October 5th, 2013
San Francisco's Union Square!
Every October, the Arab Cultural and Community Center in San Francisco hosts the Arab Cultural Festival. It is the largest celebration of Arab arts and culture in Northern California. Since 1995, this event features arts, entertainment, cuisine, crafts, traditions, and, most importantly, the spirit of Arab Americans and of the Arab world. On the stage at the center of the booth bazaar, performers will present Arab music and dance from across America and the Arab world.
The festival is accessible to all Bay Area community members, whether they live in the East Bay, the South Bay or the nearby neighborhoods of San Francisco, via the nearby BART and MUNI stations.
The event is open and welcoming to people from all backgrounds who want to see world-class performances, take part in children's activities, purchase handicrafts or just enjoy delicious treats. The Arab Cultural Festival is a vital ingredient in the Bay Area's diverse and vibrant cultural scene.
