Golden Threads Productions, a non-profit theater company in San Francisco, is holding auditions for the world premier of "444 Days," written by Torange Yeghiazarian and directed by Bella Warda

AUDITIONS
Thursday, August 15, 2013, at 6-9pm
Z Space, 450 Florida Street, San Francisco, CA

REHEARSAL DATES:
Rehearsals begin September 16, 2013
Rehearses in Berkeley and San Francisco

PERFORMANCES
Performs October 17-November 3, 2013. (exact location TBA)
Performances held at Z Below, 470 Florida Street, San Francisco, CA

PLAY SYNOPSIS
Laleh, an Iranian revolutionary, and Harry, a diplomatic attaché, meet for the first time in 25 years as Laleh’s daughter lies in a coma. The last time they spoke was when she held him hostage for 444 days at the U.S. Embassy in Tehran along with 52 other Americans.

OPEN ROLES
Laleh: 40s Iranian Woman, former revolutionary, now high up in the Iranian government, strong-minded, speaks few lines of Farsi dialogue

Harry: 50s American Man (Caucasian), former government attache, handsome and charming
