A little over a year ago, I was spending long evenings by myself watching T.V. while crocheting. I was so addicted to my craft, but knew I was getting to be a little too reclusive. I just knew there had to be other people in Santa Rosa with the same dilemma. So I decided to create a group where people could work on their projects and socialize at the same time. I decided to call it Yarn Addicts of Santa Rosa because most crocheters and knitters are literally addicted to buying yarn. Since then, we have grown to over 50 members. We have met people from other states and from all walks of life. Five of us enjoy it enough to show up every single Monday. And now that I am a Mom, it's the only time I get to crochet, relax with a cup of coffee and enjoy the company of some pretty awesome people.
