wow! I have about 5 major projects going at all times in varying degrees of difficulty. socks, lace baby dress, Aran cardigan, baby jacket, fingerless mitts...
I am a knitter but recently had to learn to read crochet patterns so I can make myself an afghan that I fell in love with and had to have. I love the internet in that I have figured out how to do a lot of crafts online. So many great tutorials. It's how I figured out how to make socks. Anytime I get stumped, I can almost find a solution online! I love it!! Great information is at my fingertips and there is always someone to help. Same with knit pattern designers. Often they will message you back when you get stick. I love it!!
Toughie! I would have to say my Monkey Socks.
46 years! considering I am 50, that is a long time!
Many. I go to retreats annually and have met wonderful friends in this community. Never met a knitter that I did not love. I am amazed with what I learn from others and am proud of what I have passed on. Knitting is so gratifying in so many ways. I love the reaction that I get from people that I knit gifts for. I remember being a tiny kid and traveling with my parents and knitting mile-long garter stitch scarves. I loved it when grown-ups said "wow! you made that?!!!".
I love to knit! I learned at 4 years-old and am addicted to the craft. Love the social and portable aspect and love knitters in general.
