Today is mostly TV time, both the Academy Awards and the Daytona 500 happen. Which would you watch?
Today starts National Eating Disorders Awareness, National Secondhand Wardrobe and Telecommuter Appreciation Weeks.
February also is National Therapeutic Recreation Month. Recreational Therapy means a treatment service designed to restore, re-mediate and rehabilitate a person’s level of functioning and independence in life activities, to promote health and wellness as well as reduce or eliminate the activity limitations and restrictions to participation in life situations caused by an illness or disabling condition.
February is also Beans (Dried and Fresh) Month.
Hey, I tried to add a bit of humor...
Blueberry jelly beans were especially made for Ronald Reagan.
We are in the Larry Kato Room. After you enter Como Park, the Lakeside Pavilion is a large white building on the lake itself and easily seen from Lexington Ave. Park and enter the building. Go a bit to your right toward the coffee shop and there will be an elevator on the left.
Go down to Community Rooms, and follow the yellow paw prints on the wall. I may have a sign on the floor again, and the door should be open. If not please go back to the coffee shop and wait for Susan to show up.
Hope to see you!
