Yeshu Mandala Community

Yeshu Mandala is a spiritual community, housed within the Pangea Studio, of persons interested in or devoted to Christ and his teachings.

This Yeshu-centered study, yoga, meditation, sacred chanting and kirtan community will begin meeting weekly on Sunday, October 16th from 1-3 and every week thereafter.

Information about our Sunday Gatherings from 1-3 pm:

Yeshu Mandala is a non-denominational group that honors the wisdom of God and the spiritual teachings of Jesus Christ. We meet weekly for yoga, study, meditation and kirtan (devotional chant).

Our yoga sessions are tailored for the beginner, but all levels are welcome.

Our kirtans are designed to express the love and devotion we seek to cultivate within ourselves toward the divine. These contemplative songs are sung in a "call and response" style, using simple melodies accompanied by harmonium, drums, and guitar. Most of the words of these chants are in the ancient language of Sanskrit, although Hebrew, Aramaic . Song sheets are provided, and you will easily be able to join in. Our goal in kirtan is that everyone can comfortably sing along together, beginners and experts alike.

Kirtan provides the same deep states of relaxed alertness that meditation does, in a fun, exhilarating process. Group chanting is both very energizing and deeply relaxing. Without effort, our chattering minds are silenced and a profound state of connected stillness.

"Namaste! I do meditation and pranayamas daily and am starting back yoga after surgery. I have some mantras in my routine but relatively new to it. Am interested in finding out what this group is all about!"
