This is a Hatha Yoga class that will include dynamic series (vinyasa), held asana, and pranayama (breathing techniques). This class will highlight postures and pranayama that relate to the current season. When we live in accordance with the rhythms of Nature harmony & radiance blossoms within us. For instance, as we enter Spring we will focus on asana that enlivens and balances the organs -liver and the gall bladder- that relate to this season. As we flow throughout the year students will learn about the various meridians (energy channels) that carry qi and prana to the body and, how to use their yoga practice to create more balance in body, mind and spirit. Some yoga experience is helpful for this class.
