New Years Day Vinyasa Class

Flow into the New Year! A special New Year's class with Deborah Quirk. Donations go to local charity. This is a New Year's tradition at Baltimore Yoga Village. Every year Deborah picks a different charity. She teaches a challenging and creative Vinyasa class. Deborah is a student of Shiva Rea, a dance therapist at Shepphard Pratt, formerly the Director of a dance company in Texas, and has taught yoga for more than 10 years in Baltimore. Her classes have the fitness element so many are looking for, while offering new challenges each week. She regularly teaches at Baltimore Yoga Village on Monday and Wednesday evenings. Come on New Year's Day morning to experience this class, by donation only, and see if Deborah might become a regular part of your 2009. There will be meetup members and non-meetup members at this class. It goes until noon. A few people have said that they would like to meet before or after the yoga classes as well. I invite you all to use our message board as a way of communicating and making dates. In past, some meetup members have decided on One World Cafe as a meetup place post-yoga-class meal..... It's close and primarily vegetarian. Other good close-by locations are the Ambassador (Charles Village), City Cafe (Mt. Vernon), Cafe Hon (Hampden), Rocket to Venus (Hampden). The yoga center is very convenient, less than 5 minutes drive to all of these areas. HOW TO GET TO BALTIMORE YOGA VILLAGE

Not many people from the meetup went to the class, but it was a great class! I absolutely loved it!

except the duration (2 hrs) of the class, ( a bit too long for me at this time & definitely felt to take some breaks), I love this class

Excellent way to begin the new year! I had a wonderful experience and was happy with the formal instruction as I usually practice Yoga at home.

Hi! Just wanted you to know that I may not make it back from New York in time, BUT it's being held at my studio and Deborah the instructor will be a great teacher and host. Just wear comfortable clothing. That's all you need. Everything else is there. And know that you can rest if you need to during class. It's never a competition:) so if you are a beginner, do your best and be mindful of resting when you need to.
