New Meetup: New Years Day Vinyasa Class

From: Anjali

Announcing a new Meetup for The Baltimore Yoga Meetup Group!

What: New Years Day Vinyasa Class

When: January 1,[masked]:00 AM

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Meetup Description: Flow into the New Year! A special New Year's class with Deborah Quirk. Donations go to local charity. This is a New Year's tradition at Baltimore Yoga Village. Every year Deborah picks a different charity. She teaches a challenging and creative Vinyasa class. Deborah is a student of Shiva Rea, a dance therapist at Shepphard Pratt, formerly the Director of a dance company in Texas, and has taught yoga for more than 10 years in Baltimore. Her classes have the fitness element so many are looking for, while offering new challenges each week. She regularly teaches at Baltimore Yoga Village on Monday and Wednesday evenings. Come on New Year's Day morning to experience this class, by donation only, and see if Deborah might become a regular part of your 2009.

There will be meetup members and non-meetup members at this class. It goes until noon. A few people have said that they would like to meet before or after the yoga classes as well. I invite you all to use our message board as a way of communicating and making dates. In past, some meetup members have decided on One World Cafe as a meetup place post-yoga-class meal..... It's close and primarily vegetarian. Other good close-by locations are the Ambassador (Charles Village), City Cafe (Mt. Vernon), Cafe Hon (Hampden), Rocket to Venus (Hampden). The yoga center is very convenient, less than 5 minutes drive to all of these areas.
