Kind and Gentle C-OM-MUNITY Yoga Meetup Group is the Karma Yoga Project of kg yoga life practices.

Ananda Leeke ((, a certified RYT 200 Yoga Alliance registered instructor and certified Reiki Master practitioner, will lead the kind and gentle yoga classes. 

The classes are for yoga enthusiasts (all levels, shapes, sizes, and ages) who:

1) believe yoga is a heart-centered practice that helps you develop the energy of the heart: loving-kindness for yourself and other; and 

2) enjoy practicing kind, gentle, restorative, and yin yoga.

The Group will participate in FREE community morning yoga sessions held from June to November in Malcolm X-Meridian Hill Park (in front of the reflecting pool and waterfall located near the entrance facing 16th Street and Florida Avenue, NW).



There are no membership or class fees. During the 2012 classes, members will be asked to make donations to President Barack H. Obama's successful 2012 re-election campaign 
online through the donation button on You can also make a donation offline by giving Ananda your donation before or after the class. She will submit all yoga class donations online as a part of her OBAMA 2012 campaign fundraising efforts.
