My first 2 types of yoga that I practiced as a "meetup" with my sister were polar opposite; Sivananda and Barkan Method Hot Yoga in Ft. Lauderdale like once every two weeks. I then moved to Manhattan for 5 years and explored different classes, different styles, and would get into the groove for a number of months to then cease for another sport or dance class. After traveling to Spain one summer for vacation, on my flight back to the States, I realized something was missing in my life. I felt an empty void. Everything was great: job, family, apt, social life. I was missing yoga. I vowed to myself on that flight to start hitting basic yoga classes immediately and dust off my Osho, spiritual books and read on the subway, like "old times"! It has been a great ride ever since. Today my practice consists of daily meditation, nightly study, and practicing with friends, family, and alone.
Amazing to connect w others in a healthy & loving way! We are all one!
