Free Yoga at Irene's every Thursday

Announcement for Thursday yoga 3:15

Come meet Irene's new teacher. She is amazing!

Megan Slattery took her first yoga breath in the mid-90s in a vinyasa yoga class in Los Angeles, CA. This is where she discovered the concept of ruthless acceptance of oneself. It allowed for a shift from perfectionism, to love and an awakening in herself that would not fully blossom until years later when she completed yoga teacher training.

Megan maintains a daily asana and meditation practice and loves working with students of all abilities or disabilities. When Megan is not teaching at Blue Yoga she is actively involved with a number of human and animal welfare agencies. Her highest hope is to serve others so that they may find their own strength, joy, peace and personal transformation.

Yes, the temperature was perfect. The heat facilitates cleansing & healing internally, and inhibits muscles, ligaments, etc. from being strained.

It was a good class. Sorry you were too warm Jack. The room temperature is intentional. Yoga is typically practiced in a warm setting. Actually, many yoga studios turn the heat way up to make the class super hot.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
