Megan Slattery took her first yoga breath in the mid-90s in a vinyasa yoga class in Los Angeles, CA. This is where she discovered the concept of ruthless acceptance of oneself. It allowed for a shift from perfectionism, to love and an awakening in herself that would not fully blossom until years later when she completed yoga teacher training.
Megan maintains a daily asana and meditation practice and loves working with students of all abilities or disabilities. When Megan is not teaching at Blue Yoga she is actively involved with a number of human and animal welfare agencies. Her highest hope is to serve others so that they may find their own strength, joy, peace and personal transformation.
