Being French, I have always lived in Paris or nearby. My life style is mainly sedentary, as I spend most of my working time writing on my computer... Luckily, I practice yoga, which makes me move my body, watch my thoughts, explore my inner space, be aware of what’s happening there and around… I wouldn’t say my life is already perfect, there are many things which can be improved! For me, the first question is: how to manage with working, family and spiritual life? Secondly: how to live quietly in this urban, fast, stressing environment? Yoga is the best way I know to find the solution, because it brings us in contact with our deep self, with what is really important, and with the Higher Consciousness.
I’d like to achieve harmony and peace. I was initiated into karma sannyasa in 1993, by Swami Nishchalananda Saraswati, disciple of Paramahamsa Satyananda Saraswati, founder of the Bihar School of Yoga (BSY), and my initiation was confirmed in Munger (Bihar) by Swami Niranjananda Saraswati, who succeeded Paramahamsa Satyananda at the head of the BSY. For me, this means that I ‘try to expand and express my higher awareness while living in the world as an active participant’. Therefore, I would say yoga is part of my life at every moment (even if not so obvious sometimes ;-))
My highest purpose in life is to find peace inside, and with others and the Universe, in order to bring peace and joy to people around me and in the world. I am not sure a whole life will be enough to achieve this, but at least I’m always growing. I can use my life experiences to help others to grow too.
I’m a seeker. In this age, all continents have been discovered (and I didn’t seize the opportunity to become a spacewoman!). Now, the inner space is left to explore. That space is a never ending world, so rich, so various and so interesting…
