Rich here from Creative Yoga London, I've recently taken over this group and I'm working on putting a programme together! Handily enough, our main base is right next to Regents Park at the Albany Club, where we already host some of meetup's biggest and most creative yoga events and classes - such as Social Yoga Tuesdays - one of the few yoga meetups which actually is also a proper meetup as we head for a social after the class.
We already run a weekly ecotherapy (mindfulness in nature) class in the park, and as the weather improves we'll start putting regular classes back on in the park as well. Last summer we did a weekly class called 'Saturday morning: Restore!' which was a yoga class followed by optional exercise in the park - a walk or a run and it was super popular!
Practising yoga in a natural setting is super nourishing and healthy. Studio yoga can be great too, but the fresher air, absence of electromagnetic energy and the fact that you are in a much more harmonious natural environment, which is also much easier on the eye, all means your nervous system can relax another to another level!
Creative Yoga London is London's fastest growing, most exciting and unique yoga project and meetup. We don't just offer kick-ass wellbeing events, we are all about connecting people together and connecting with movement and nature to provide the missing links in your urban holistic experience. NO ONE else does what we do!
We hold amazing events like the iconic feel good Social Yoga Tuesdays, superb Yoga Dating (both followed by socials) and frankly mind blowing Yoga Raves in order to bring people together, get fit and have fun. In addition to this the depth and quality of our regular classes is unsurpassed; In addition to Vinyasa and Dru, we have Yoga in Regents Park itself, Yoga and Creative Movement with Mayan Patel, a range of meditations and ecotherapy with Clinical Psychologist Julia Lay. It's time to fly folks!
