Ingrid teaches a type of Vinyasa that comes from Power Yoga. In this style of yoga, the physical poses or asana, are combined with meditation and inquiry to create a powerful and flowing internal and external practice. The dynamic, physical practice challenges students in a way that asks them to open up to what is possible in their bodies. This physical confidence carries over and allows students to tap into a deeper place of empowerment so they can begin to explore their practice in their lives. Her primary concern as an instructor, is working safely with you toward your own personal goals. With firm but gentle guidance, her classes will lead you to better understand the brilliance and complexity of your physical body. Through her many years of teaching she has seen that our limitations are often mental and not physical ones, and can help you break through your own boundaries and find physical freedom to do whatever you want to do. Previous Yoga experience is neccesarry. Must be proficient at all basic positions, because this class incorporates advanced positioning, longer sets, higher levels of intensity and more creative variations.
