Come join me for both a dynamic and relaxing 75 minutes at one of Portland’s most beautiful Yoga Studios. You will feel the stress begin to melt from your body as you walk from your car to the building through these tranquil landscaped grounds. Enjoy the deep calming atmosphere, as you enter into this oasis away from the world.
We will begin our classic Hatha Yoga practice with some basic Pranayama, or breath work... then we will build gradually and gently as we flow into dynamic back bends, cleansing twists and liberating hip openers; building our inner fire to purge our bodies of toxins. Finally we will move into deep relaxation poses to cool ourselves down and release those heavy energies that no longer serve us. We will end with everyone's favorite asana, Shivasana, or Corpse Pose... where the real healing happens.
