Yogic Lore Flow: The Goddesses

Everything in the world from the sun and moon to our psyche is made up of masculine and feminine energy. Our masculine self is associated with the mind and the feminine is the active energy which turns thought into form. In Hindu mythology, the feminine is represented in the form of various goddesses whose life energy moves the world. No matter your gender, by embodying the goddesses you embody the dynamic energy within yourself.

In this transformative 2-hr hatha flow class, you will come face-to-face with your own vibrant energy as you embrace the active power of the feminine through story, meditation, and imagery. Learn about the goddesses in the Hindu pantheon, the mudras (hand gestures) associated with them, and tap into your beauty, wisdom, and fierce self.

Some of the goddesses we will learn about: Laksmi, Sarasvati, Durga, and Kali.

This workshop costs $25.

About Kimi Marin

Kimi teaches yoga with the mind frame that you can only begin from where you are and works to help others find clarity in their mind, body and spirit. When you come to Kimi’s class you will be met right where you are and be guided through a fun, yet challenging, flow sequence. Inspired by the continuous flow of breath through our body, Kimi guides students through their practice by riding the waves of their breath, continually aligning breath and body into a rhythmic flow of consciousness.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
