I'd like to hold one or more (series?) of introductory pranayama (yogic breathing exercise) class and I'm wondering how many people are interested. The class would be about 1:15-1:30 minutes and would cover the basics of what pranayama is, the benefits, proper technique, and about 30-45 minutes of practice. I would also like to hold the class outside since the weather is nice and pranayama is traditionally done outdoors. I was thinking about Mt. Tabor park (at the summit there are some nice views of the city and clean air) but I'm open to any other suggestions. The ideal spot would be near a creek or other running water with clean air and few distractions. Please feel free to e-mail me (Viecynt) with any suggestions.
