Steven teaches ashtanga yoga in the tradition of Sri. K. Pattabhi Jois of Mysore, India. Inspired by the internal forms approach of Richard Freeman, his focus is on tapas, form and meditative movement. Steven has a patient and light-hearted approach empowering students to explore asana as a means to facilitate awareness. He came to yoga with a background in the martial arts, philosophical studies, and music. Steven and his family are currently based in Austin, Texas.
