Hello Yorkie Owners and Lovers,

This is the Dallas Yorkshire Terrier Meetup group. We are relatively new -began late 2007- and now have a growing membership list of 140+. The core reason behind our group meetings is to give our precious Yorkies an opportunity to socialize and play with other Yorkies. We know that they are kings (and queens) of the castle at home but sometimes they don't get that opportunity out at the local dog park with big dogs.

The Yorkies enjoy each others company and learn to socialize, romp and play while owners exchange information on vets, groomers, dental care, quality dog food, the list goes on. If you have a question, there is bound to be someone in our membership who has some experience and can give some advice. Some of our meetings have no organization whatsoever, the dogs run wild, the owners kick back. Sometimes fellow members give talks or sell Yorkie items. Each meeting is unique.

Our group welcomes mix and purebred Yorkies of all ages and sizes. Our Yorkies are more than just animals, they're members of the family! Bottom line is, we just have fun.

We meet the 3rd Weekend of each month. Can't wait to play!
