       it was really nice.
    •  happy new year to all!
    •  Annabelle and I had lots of fun. There was too much sugar, however. It would have been better if we all brought an array of things that we could munch on that I didn't feel guilty eating. But I guess it's ok for a sugar splurge before our New Year's resolutions. (I liked the dog treats best. Very yummy and not sweet!) Thank you, Erica, for organizing this. It was my first meet up with this group and I was afraid that Annabelle, who is 6.5 lbs, would be overwhelmed by the larger dogs, but she was fine. I did the photo shoot and I can't wait to see her photo in her gold lmetallic dress (which I made the day before...she had nothing super-fancy to wear. She has lots of costumes; Thanksgiving, Xmas, Halloween, etc, but no fancy duds that still fit her. She gained a little weight (ahem!) so we now call her Pork Belly. A special note to the guys thinking of moving to Ft. Lauderdale with their little Yorkie...watch out for the hawks down there.

As always, thanks to Erika for all her hard work in arranging the event. All the food, treats & drinks were great! However, there were way too many people! The dogs had fun, but had limited space to run around. Animal Haven is our favorite place because it is a big space, but it was unfortunately crowded. There was a dog that was tall enough to reach/jump by the tables & licked some of the food which was disturbing.....
