The museum is having a pretty cool sounding event this Friday from 8pm-12am. "Revel in winter like a true Northerner at the museum's late-night creative blowout. The evening includes glow-in-the-dark art projects for grown ups, films, illuminated performance art, dancing, food trucks, scavenger hunt, museum tours led by local artists, live music, Church of Flaming Funk LED Circus, planetarium shows and more. This event is for ages 21 and older. This fundraising event is part of the Northern Initiative, a series of programs and exhibitions exploring and celebrating contemporary life in the North. Proceeds will support the development of museum exhibitions and educational programs." The price is a bit steep, $30, but it sounds pretty cool and supports the museum. I do not know if you can buy a ticket at the door (I'm assuming it's a first come first serve thing) but you can purchase tickets online at this link:
I was thinking we could all meet around 8pm and check it out! Who's game?
