We're a couple of relatively new Baltimore-area residents (who just recently met!) and we've noticed how hard it is to make friends who have similar interests once you get into your later 20s/early 30s. So...we decided to start this group for people who have been frustrated by how hard it is to make new friends at our age, especially when you're in a new city (though it can be hard when you've been here a while too). We're into going out to dinner, having picnics, checking out new places in Baltimore and the surrounding areas. We just started the group, but please feel free to get in touch if you're interested. If you're looking to meet some new people and like low key events like dinner, movies, bowling, checking out a show, etc please be in touch!
More specifics: Our plan is to start off with a small group of people who we think will get along reasonably (to the best of our ability with a limited number of info from the questions you answer) and see how it goes. We may add people over time, so if you're not accepted into the group right now, it's nothing personal. We may have more room later, but in order to have dinners, and eventually, we hope, have people over to each other's houses, etc, we need to keep the group manageable. We're serious about only late 20s and 30s and we're looking for people aren't particularly fond of the bar/club scene because our events won't be organized around drinking.
