I am an Oakland native and Star Stylist at Stella & Dot. I love planning fun events, and I created YBB to meet more folks like yourself!

I'm 27, born and raised in Oakland/Berkeley hills, California. I created this Meetup because I noticed that no other groups catered to young black professionals in the Bay Area. I also love to network and meet new people! Website: courtneyparham.com

In general, what kinds of activities do you like? What, if any, are your favorite local venues?

Refer to the YBB calendar :). My favorite venues are Angeline's Louisiana Kitchen, Somar Bar, and Fenton's Creamery.

Why did you join YBB?

A year after graduating from University of San Francisco, I created YBB to meet a handful of like-minded, young, black professionals to hang out with on the weekends. Now, I am blessed to know SO many more amazing individuals from this group.

For fun: If you were to write a book what would it be about?

My life, my life, my life, my life in the sunshine!
