I think I covered most of the highlights in the intro, so I'll use this space to talk about my experiences with YBB. I joined YBB a long time ago, but for a variety of reasons chose only to be a fringe member coming only to a handful of events for years. Eventually, I got the itch to connect with new people and share some of the awesome places and things that I've found around the Bay Area with others, so I started going to more and more YBB events. I really dug the folks that I was meeting and wanted to hang out more, so I started suggesting events. The next thing I know, I'm an organizer. Wait, what?
Solo activities that I enjoy include taking long drives up and down the coast, looking for remote and picturesque spots to stop and read a book. But you're probably more interested in group activities. Most of my interests here revolve around food and music. Concerts, karaoke, ballroom dancing, and the occasional fit of club dancing fill the music requirements. Bar-hopping and bourbon tasting fill my need for brown liquor.
Is "YOLO" an acceptable answer? No? Well, that's the story that I'm sticking with.
Zombies... no, robots... no, definitely zombies.
Hi, I'm Antuan. Here are my Cliff Notes™: • Georgia native • moved to the Bay almost 6 years ago • automotive journalist • I like my whiskey neat. • I like pie more than I like cake. ...and now you know me.
Why not? The organizer is great. So far the events that I've been to have been both fun and educational! LOL.
