Richard Florida suggests that in our post-industrial economy, "Creative Class" occupations will begin clustering in cities that include Technology, Talent, and Tolerance, which he identifies Ann Arbor as once such city. Living and working in the city now, I am comparing my experiences with past living situations, much of which is favorable.
Perhaps still being a trait of still being in the midwest, not all my coworkers are as serious/passionate about their roles as I think is possible. So I am grateful to work with others in our Washington D.C. and San Francisco offices.
Developing our web site, I get to create the interfaces of how content is presented. There are lots of innovative initiatives, and layout can suggest a lot to an outside end-user.
A member institution world-class IT professionals in higher education to facilitate research, through network technology and software.
I am currently the "Web Intern", and has been loosely defined. I started helping move web page content into our new site, and since then I have created many pages for new initiatives or events. I have also participated in monitoring performance analytics, and tracking marketing initiatives to email and social media.
I am finishing up undergrad at EMU in Marketing and Sociology, and transitioning to mobile adulthood in Ann Arbor.
