I'm very excited to announce the next meetup where we will have presentations by two Clojure hot-shots who are in town for the GOTO Zurich conference. Sam Aaron is well known for his work on Overtone (live programming music) and Quil - and I know one or two of you have been very interested in that. David Nolen is bet known for his work on core.logic, the logic programming library for Clojure, and his massive contribution to ClojureScript. The are both excellent speakers, and I'm very much looking forward to the meetup (as I am sure you are too).
We predict that our rooms at local.ch are probably going to be a bit too small for the crowd they'll (hopefully) draw, so if you know of any other (bigger) places we can be, please let me know!
If you're interested in seeing Sam and David even more, they will both give talks (and Daivd a keynote) at the GOTO Zurich conference. Use the promotion code kris100 for a 100 CHF discount.
See you all then, and happy hacking!
We have a room! Christian has contacted digicomp who will be hosting the talks as an OpenTuesday. This also means we will be starting at 18:00, and that there will be an aparo - nice! To find out if we need a bigger room or more food, we need all of you to register on their homepage: http://www.digicomp.ch/opentuesday
Once again, thank you Christian, for finding us a place to stay :)
