Many thanks to the ~30 folks who came to last night's meetup. As always, it was a fascinating mix of people with a variety of backgrounds and interests. I continue to be inspired by the creative spirit of Zurich's entrepreneurs.
Though somewhat on the loud side, I think the general feeling was that Bohemia is a good venue for social occasions like this. So I will make that our default location. It also seems that the third Wednesday of the month is as good as any other evening for these events, so I will stick with that for now.
Several of you have told me that you would prefer, from time to time, a more structured meeting in a private setting, where it is easier to interact as a group. I agree, and therefore plan to do something along those lines in December. Among other things, I want to give several members a chance to present their businesses for 10-15 minutes. If you are interested in making a presentation, please let me know. Also, it is quite challenging to find a private meeting place that doesn't cost a ton of money. If anyone has suggestions or can offer a conference room for this purpose, please let me know.
So here is the tentative schedule for the remainder of the year:
Weds, 21 October, casual meeting @ Bohemia
Weds, 18 November, casual meeting @ Bohemia
Weds, 16 December, round table with presentations, location TBD
Also, as a reminder, John Styffe holds regular morning coffee meetups, generally every other Tuesday. Keep your eyes on the site for details.
