Hi tea lovers!

Well, we are going to finally do our long awaited and long overdue pu-erh tea tasting. We will be sampling two raw (sheng) and two cooked (shu) pu-erh teas with the help of our friend and residnet expert Edward. We will be sampling two of his rare teas along with our loose pu-erh and some of my 1986 CNNP raw stash.

It should be a lovely afternoon of sampling some of the most rare and mysterious of all teas in the world.

Long respected for its purported health benefits and unqie taste, pu-erh tea is not to be missed; at once earthy, exotic, and heavenly, pu-erh is in a class of its own.

Participants will receive a take home sample of pu-erh along with 1.5 hours of educational, fun, tasty time at the Zhi Tea Gallery. All participants will also be offered a 10% discount on all in-store purchases after the event.

Hi all!

I am so sorry but I am having to change the day forward to this Saturday. We were going to be at the downtown Farmer's Market, but were delayed by a couple of weeks. We also just committed to being at the Pet Parade on S. Congress on Sunday as a vendor!

So, I sincerely apologize to those of you who signed up and paid who cannot make it on Saturday and I will refund you per your request. Pleas echange your RSVP if needed! THANK YOU!

April's tea tasting will feature some of our unique and quality oolong teas. If you haven't tried oolongs yet, you are in for a surprise. Those who have, we will make sure to provide at least one super rare one.

Sign up soon as this will fill up fast. As always, we will sample four delicious organic teas, and discuss, build our palate of experience, and share stories, and tea facts.

$10 advance admission required. All participants receive a sample pack of one of the teas of the day and 10% off all purchases after the tea tasting. (refund given if canceled at least 2 days prior)

Join us in our lovely relaxed setting as we journey into the mysterious realm of oolongs. We will be sampling some from China, Taiwan, and Sri Lanka.

Expect surprises.

Also, come visit our booth at the Zilker Garden Festival at the end of March! And we will be at the Triangle Farmer's Market on April 1st and the downtown Austin Farmer's Market on April 4th!

This month we will be indulging in exotic black teas. Be ready to experience black whole leaf teas from China, India, Sri Lanka, and more...if you have never had high quality full leaf black tea you are in for a treat. Great black tea is nuanced, subtle, complex, and full of personality.

Our group is limited and I am now requiring advance payment due to the number of no-shows.

Please, change your RSVP if you can't show. If you change more than 24 hours in advance, you will be refunded the $10 fee. Fee includes a free sample of one of the four teas of the day.

We will compare and contrast, explore the history and regions of our teas.

Thank you all for attending the lovely tasting last weekend. We're doing it again the first Saturday in November. Come joins us as we sample lovely exquisite loose-leaf teas and our original blends. The tasting takes place in the Zhi Tea storefront in East Austin, 2.5 miles east of the capitol building.

The 1.5-2 hour event is part educational, part philosophical, part history, and all fun!
