The Body Sculpt classes focus on one part of the body at a time. Each class would deal with upper body, core, or legs.
Sculpt: Upper Body
We focus on the chest, back, arms, shoulders, and the core. Some examples of exercises are push-ups, mountain climbs, back extensions with rows, posterior lat crunches, bicep curls with forearm flexion, and tricep kickbacks.
We focus on the core muscles (rectus abdominis, obliques, transverse abdominis, and lower back muscles). Some examples of exercises are walking planks, side planks, back extensions with rows, basic crunches, bicycles, and burpees.
We focus on the leg muscles and do exercises specifically for the quadriceps, hamstrings, glutes, and calves. This class also utilizes plyometric moves such as squat jumps and lung jumps. This class is perhaps the most intense of all the sculpt classes due to the plymotrics involved.
All fitness levels are welcome as basic and advance options would be demonstrated. This class is for those who are out of shape to those who are athletes.
You will need a set of weights. We recommend having two to three sets of weights ranging from 1 to 10 lbs per weight. Since this class involves muscular endurance and body-weight exercises, we don't recommend bringing weights that are heavier than 10 lbs...but we also won't restrict you from doing so.
You will also need a floor mat as we do a significant amount of floor exercises.
Each class is only $5 and each class is only 30 minutes long.
