Every month, the Royal Opera House broadcasts one show live to cinemas all over the world. It is great, because you get close-ups, explanations and behind-the-scenes during intermission and comfy seats. What's not to like?
In April, it will be the ballet A Winter's Tale, a brand new piece. We saw the trailer at our last movie meetup and all wanted to go immediately. For more details, see http://www.kitag.com/Programm/Film.aspx?EventID=761688617
The day is the day of the Sechseläuten, and the cinema is right in the thick of the event. So, we will not do any drinks before (everything will be packed) but meet at 7.30 in the cinema and buy the tickets to enjoy a hopefully great show starting at 8pm.
Tickets with the carte bleue are CHF 30. I am limiting the attendee number to 10, as I can only reserve 10 tickets (and have done so). If someone else also has a carte bleue and wants to make a reservation: I have seats 1-10, row 9.
IMPORTANT: If the signup is closed and you want to attend, please do RSVP to the Waitlist. RSVP's always dwindle by about 50% in the days before the event, and it would be a pity if you did not come because of that. Alternatively, you can, of course, buy your own ticket.
Please do keep your reservation up-to-date, as we will only actually buy and pay for the tickets for those who are there on time. And it would be a shame if others could not go because someone reserves and does not show up.
