So, after skipping April, and having the change of organizers, I have personally picked the book for May. The Reluctant Fundamentalist by Mohsin Hamid. I don't know if it is good, I haven't read it yet, but it was shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize last year, and anyway it is pretty short, so I think everyone can manage to read it. I am looking for a new place to meet, as Annabelle closes at 21 (I think), which may be too early, but for the meantime I am leaving it as is. If you have a suggestion, let me know. It should be fairly quiet, not too crowded usually, with some kind of food on offer, and not just drinks, and open until 10 at least. OK, so check out this book, and hope to see lots of you there on May 20th!
Oh, and even if you don't manage to get around to finishing (or starting...) the book, but would like to come discuss books in general or help pick out the next one, feel free to come along. We are a relaxed group.
