Special Gator By The Bay Warm Up Zydeco Workshop and DJ Dance

This Wednesday (4/10), we have a special Intermediate Zydeco workshop & DJ Dance as a warm-up for the Gator By The Bay festival coming up.

6:30pm - 7:30pm - Greg Benusa will be teaching a special Intermediate Zydeco workshop as well as a Intermediate Waltz move.

7:30pm - 10:00pm - DJ dance with Keith Frank, Step Rideau, Nooney, Leroy Thomas, Brian Jack, Horace Trahan, Zydeco Joe, Lost Bayou Ramblers and many others !!!

9:30-10:00pm - In addition to Zydeco being played I can play West Coast Swing, Jitterbug or other styles of music if requested, or if you have a tune on your cell phone you want played we can do that!

Break - During a short 9pm break I will also be teaching a Zydeco & Cha Cha style line dance as at Gator by The Bay it's always good to know a few line dances to do with others...

Video Clips - I will have special new video clips playing on the screen from various Cajun/Zydeco events.

Although I will only be teaching intermediate (and one advanced move), there will also be another instructor available if needed if there are any beginning dancers at 6:45pm.

We meet every Wednesday at Tio Leo's near Mission Valley. 5302 Napa Street.
7:00pm is a Beginning lesson and you don't need a partner to attend (we will supply them). You don't need any previous dance experience and it's amazing how many people Zydeco who don't have any other dance experience.

There was a last minute change related to the band playing so it's a DJ night with a one hour workshop before the dance. Let me know if I can answer any further questions.
    Thanks,

Tio Leo's website shows a band there tonight. Is there a band for the meetup or is there going to be a DJ? Does anyone know???

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
