010PHP: Managing private composer packages

After a succesful meetup at CoolBlue HQ, where we celebrated our first anniversary, we will continue our second year with a meetup at Alphacomm Group BV.

Reen Lokum, who also works at Alphacomm, will speak about managing private Composer packages.

Summary:

Everybody in the open source community knows about Composer, THE dependency manager for php. The reason for this success is probably the ease of use for both installing and creating packages. This talk is about using Composer in a corporate environment.

We’ll start with a basic explanation of Composer and dependency managers. Then we will discuss how you should create a package. After that Reen will show you how to create and manage a private repository.

Schedule:

19:00 – Doors open
19:30 – Managing private Composer packages
20:20 – Raffle & next Meetup announcement
20:30 – Social
