1锔忊儯 A Surprising Aspect of Conversion by Laszlo Kardos

Funnels and conversion rates are the norm to measure products', campaigns' and often an entire startup's performance. People often tend to overlook an essential aspect of these numbers. This aspect has significant impact on all the insights gathered from these and can even cause you to rethink your business KPIs. I intend to talk about the various settings of funnels, focusing on this important aspect, show some surprising data and change how you're thinking about funnels.

In my talk, I will introduce Social Design Canvas, a novel design tool that helps map, analyse and design key ingredients of social cooperative processes and systems: contributors, contributions, motivations, enablers, rules and tools. The canvas was co-created and tested by over 200 workshop participants at many European events and will be soon published in Social Design Cookbook. The book, co-authored by designers and researchers from Finland, Hungary and the Netherlands, aims to uncover what it takes to design successful social cooperative system processes, organisations and societies.

3锔忊儯 Lean Poker: A framework for learning how to deliver value early and often in practice by Ivett 脰rd枚g (previously known as Rafael 脰rd枚g)

Our goal as software developers is to sustainably deliver value for our organizations. Conferences are a great opportunity to learn about the challenges other teams faced (challenges you might also be facing right now) and how those challenges can be solved. However, putting even the
best of advice鈥檚 into practice is hard. To help developers and product people adopt better workflows for delivering we have created a workshop where teams can compete against each other and learn things in practice along the way. In this talk I will show you how we did that, and what are the most frequent learning points for participants.

About Ivett:
Ivett is a Lead Developer at Budapest-based Emarsys and a frequent speaker at conferences around Europe. As a founding member of Emarsys CraftLab 鈥 the dedicated coaching team of Emarsys 鈥 she has taught university courses, talked at numerous conferences and visited multiple companies as an external consultant. Her passion for short feedback loops drove her to create Lean Poker (http://leanpoker.org), a workshop where developers have the opportunity to experiment with continuous delivery in a safe environment. She is also the creator and host of the Morning Commute YouTube channel inspiring the next generation of developers to broaden their knowledge.
