Startup Riot 2011 - 151 Locust - Perfect Pitch Practice Sessions

Yes, one of our absolute favorite events is just right around the corner.

Startup Riot 2011

If you are planning on presenting, or even attending, then its time to get ready and make your pitch perfect. 151 Locust is going to host a series of Startup Riot 2011 - 151 Perfect Pitch Practice Sessions leading up to the February, 2011 Startup Riot event.

Come and try out your Startup Riot 2011 presentation at 151 Locust and get some great feedback and practice from your peers and a panel of experts. Even if you company isn't presenting at Startup Riot you need to nail your quick pitch. It's the key to everyone understanding exactly who you are and your place in the market.

The first session in on November 16th at 7 PM at 151 Locust. Each event is limited to 20 participants. Register now!

You are encouraged to bring your laptop with your presentation ready to go. If you don't have a laptop available, you may email your presentation ahead of time. Here are the specifics for Startup Riot 2011 and the link.

The most important part of your application is providing a 4 slide presentation and a 3 minute presentation that goes with those slides. This would essentially be an initial run of what you would present at Startup Riot.

Rules for the slides:
* First slide is company name and presenters name and other contact info - can't use this slide for "real" information
* Next three slides are all up to you but we suggest VERY few words and LARGE type (48+ point preferably)
* More visual slides will mean more focus on your talk/idea and not your slides.
* No animation, music, sound, or fanciness for your slides. If you are selected your slides will be converted to plain PDF so keep that in mind.

We've got a travel assistance fund and we'll be announcing prizes for the top 3 audience vote recipients soon.
