We connect, inspire, educate and empower all entrepreneurs!
Entrepreneurship provides us a way to change the economy and cultivate social impact through inclusion. Our members span industry sector, experience and education level, age groups, and ethnicity.
When the Kauffmann Fondation held their first 1 Million Cups meeting in April 2012, nobody could imagine the impact of what just happened: As of today, more than 140 communities meet Wednesday mornings to discuss the founder experience.
Speakers come in weekly, and they share their individual stories on making new sales, surviving their first few years in business, and how they intend to scale-up.
Come and join our community of founders, committed to a better Richmond, a great startup community in our city, and even more founder inclusion.
Global Entrepreneurship Week brings together 10 million people, and includes over 35,000 events to highlight the grassroots activities in 170 countries. This year GEW will be November 18 - 24, 2019.
Hear from Chris Bennett (of Technology - Innovation - Law) on the organizing activities for Maryland, Washington, DC and Virginia. Join the discussion on how to best reflect Richmond's startup community at GEW!

Each week 1 Million Cups Richmond highlights entrepreneurs, and provides a great learning environment for entrepreneurs to assist one another. It is a national program of the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, and we at RVA Works have been pleased to bring this program to Richmond. Since 2014 we have held over 200 unique networking events for entrepreneurs.
This is a setting in which business founders come to connect, inspire and educate one another. Each week an entrepreneur provides their business model and growth plans, and they benefit from questions and peer recommendations. Other founders in the audience refine their ideas, build their team, and develop local sales.
