Sherman Arbor Cities Cycling Club: Workshop Series- Buyer's Guide

Details

Welcome to our first ever bike workshop in Sherman, brought to you by Arbor Cities Cycling Club. The first series of workshops are set to take place once a month on the 2nd Saturday, covering a variety of topics. Our next workshop will explain how to change tires and tubes. Look forward to a hands-on tire changing session with actual demo parts and learn the process of tire and tube replacement, along with tire pressure recommendations based on application.

If you don't have a bike in your possession currently or are looking for a new one, I've created a buyer's guide to help narrow down the right choice. With so many options out on the market, shopping for a bike can sometimes bring up more questions than answers. In this workshop, we'll be covering factors that influence the decision-making process, like intended use(s), price points, general bike categories, and more. By the end, you'll have a better idea of what to buy so you can explore the world... or at least this slice of it.

I'll provide mini-composition notebooks (which are super cool looking, as you'll see) and pens for note-taking. Class will be in session weather permitting.

Afterwards, feel free to join us at Gelati's, located within walking distance.

As always, questions can be posted below. What bike have you been in the market for?

Cheers,
