  • Wednesday "Happy Hour"!

    Kupros Crafthouse

Sorry for posting this so late! Join us for another Wednesday happy hour not actually happy hour! Kupros is a great bar with a relaxed atmosphere in the heart of Midtown! This bar is inside of a former Victorian style home, providing a comforting ambience while serving an extensive rotating tap menu along with an excellent selection of food. Their greatest feature (in my opinion) is their "can roulette", where you pay just $4 for a mystery can of craft beer - what's better than not having to make a decision? (TBH their other greatest feature is their proximity to my apartment.) Kupros has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, including a second story deck with a view. Can't wait to see everyone there!

  • Wednesday "Happy Hour"!

    Urban Roots Brewery & Smokehouse

Hey newbies! This week's edition of Wednesday not-happy-hour Happy Hour will be at yet another new spot (to me) - Urban Roots Brewery & Smokehouse! Urban Roots' doors have only been open for ten months. They feature an authentic biergarten, a stylish and spacious interior and stunning outdoor murals by Maren Conrad and Lily Therens. Its enormous industrial smoker was imported from Texas, with enough room to roast six whole hogs at once. Their beer most-notably has a distinct diversity, keeping light-and-easy drinks in rotation with all of that heavier stuff often associated with craft beer. Its 'Like Riding A Bike' IPA has placed in competitions in Sacramento and LA! Hope to see everyone there!

  • Wednesday "Happy Hour"!

    Costanza's

Hey newbies! Finally I've managed to post the meetup on time. This week we're heading to Costanza's, a fairly new spot that replaced The Distillery. Costanza’s is a sports bar with an interactive bent. The bar features drink specials based on game day teams and the outcomes of games. It hosts eating competitions and late-night karaoke, and you're even able to pour your own beer from a self-serve “beer wall.” Costanza's has twenty rotating taps and a menu of standard American comfort food.
