What we're about
2nd Annual Earth Day Fair
Come visit us on the Enfield Town Green for a vendor craft fair, food, workshops/demonstrations, live music, kids crafts, and more!
We will have an information area where you can learn facts about composting, the importance of bee's, and recycling, just to name a few.
Come bring the kids and take part in a mural made of plastic bottle caps. We partnered with EFrC for this project. The families of Enfield really have come together for this exciting collaboration. Thank you!
We will be giving out 100 swag bags to the first 100 families that come up and bring a food donation for the Enfield Food Shelf. It is our hope to top last years amount!
Let us give back, so we can give more.

My Gym - My Gym here in Enfield will be providing a play area and obstacle course for the kids this year.
Bakers Woodshop - They will be showing you how they turn pallets into wine racks. Items will also be available for purchase.
Sugar Pop Crochet - Discover the joy of 3-dimensional crochet! Learn to stitch a simple ball shape and then decorate your creation as an animal face, fruit, or emoji! Rachelle will teach you the basics, and you will amaze yourself. Items are also available for purchase.
The Connected Touch - Come and build your very own succulent garden. You have different options for the pots and decor! There will also be gardens for sale, along with other hand crafted items.
Plastic Bag Mat Weaving -
Our 16 year old, Morgan, inspired us to art for good so we decided to make plastic mats for those experiencing homelessness. Our seven person family has made it a year-long goal to make as many mats as possible out of grocery bags! We asked for the community’s help and have received thousands of bags! We are now working on weaving them into 6‘ x 2‘ mats. We will be donating them to missions, police stations and warming centers as needed! Come learn how to help and spread a little kindness.
Zumba Workshop -
11-11:45 & 12:30-1:15
I go by "KatCanDanceZumba" on Facebook and YouTube.
I teach in Glastonbury, East Hartford, Tolland, Vernon and Mansfield. I dance in many other classes with other instructors, so if anyone is in the Zumba world already, they have probably seen my face in a class. I have been dancing Zumba for 5 years. I fell in love with it- the rhythms, the freedom of movement, learning confidence in the way my body moves and trusting myself to get there one step at a time
If I had known about ZUMBA before I had kids, I would have been dancing like it was my job. Now that I've found it... it IS my job. It is so much fun and makes you actually look forward to sweating. It's not about the calories you burn in that hour with me. It's about the anxiety release, the hour of feeling gorgeous in your skin, an hour of endorphin's, an hour of YES, I CAN.
Enfield's own KITE program, an early childhood collaborative, will have a booth that highlights the importance of play. You will be able to bring your little ones to come and plant seeds using recyclable materials.
