Saturday AFTERNOON OPTION:
Can drive to Southport, browse around for a couple of hours, then take the ferry (North Carolina Ferry Schedule (http://www.ncdot.gov/download/transit/ferry/ferryschedule.pdf)) back to Fort Fischer and up the beach to Oceanic Restaurant on Wrightsville Beach. Park on the road (FREE after 6:00 pm) to walk on the beach to Masonboro Inlet to watch the boats coming in and out.
